-         digitalization of manuscripts and other important works

-         acquision, elaboration, and preservation of archival documents related to history of Bosnia and Herzegovina during Ottoman rule

-         elaboration and preservation of archival documents of Islamic Community

-         acquision, elaboration, and preservation of materials such as photographs, maps, pictures, postcards, and museum artifacts

-         providing service to researchers

-         analysis and research of various topics in the fields of Islamic studies and cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina

-         publishes annual - Anali Gazi Husrevbegove biblioteke

-         publishes catalogs of manuscripts

-         occassionally publishes special publications

The Library collection is open to local and international researchers according to the Library Regulations.

The Library collection may be used only in the premises of the Library and only during working hours.

The users of the library collection are expected to use the material carefully without causing any damage. In case of damage of library material, the director can temporraily withhold permission of further use of library materials.
